it turns out edy loves to carry a purse. she has confiscated one of lucy's and will not return it!

grocery shoppin

somewhere along the way lucy and edy were introduced to the "car" shopping cart at publix. i know for a fact it wasn't me that made the introduction because i truly dislike the darn thing. it has no steering so every time i take a corner i knock an end cap down or ram into an old lady's buggy with no control. second of all, when the trip is over and the bag boy is ready to take his cart back they pitch a fit. but on the flip side, the moment i put them in it they get the biggest grin ear to ear. they just have the time of their lives turning the steering wheels as fast as they can go and pretending to buckle each other's seat belts. by the time i thought of getting my camera out the excitement of the car had passed because we passed through the deli and picked up cookies...so you'll just have to imagine.

new chompers

edy's first tooth broke through today! it's her bottom left. poor girl has had two nights of interupted sleep which is unusual for her so i know it's got to hurt growing teeth that fast!

and she's off!

our sweet little baby just started walking! i'm so proud of her, but it makes me a little sad to see her grow up so fast! p.s. i know it's annoying to watch the video sideways, but i couldn't figure out how to turn it.

girls day out

my sister-in-law came down to visit with us from orlando on saturday. we had such a great time with her. we went to lunch, took the girls to the park, watched movies, baked cookies and let the girls splash in the pool. thanks for coming to visit jena, we're looking forward to you coming back!

cOOling off

spending time with the revells! we went to the pool again today with brooker and bonny. the kids were being so cooperative and we ended up staying at the pool for about two hours. needless to say we came home with a little bit of a burn...it turns out sun tan lotion expires. who knew it had an expiration date?!

i was sitting on the couch feeding edy while lucy was supposed to be eating her lunch. i had to argue with her a couple of times that she needed to start eating and she wouldn't. after a while i noticed it was awfully quiet and i was expecting to find a huge mess on the floor when i got up. i was so tickled when i found her snuggled up on the chair sound asleep!
