Today we got together with our favorite playmates, Rylie, Brooker and Baxlee. The plan was to go to the childrens' museum but when we got there there was a field trip that beat us to it. So we took the party to Rylie and Baxlee's house to picnic and play. Thank you, Leslie, for hosting last minute. We had so much fun catching up with you guys and can't wait to see you again.

Healthy as a horse

The doctor says Lucy and Edy are growing up just as they should. Edy had her 18 month check up and Lucy her 2 1/2 physical.
LUCY: 37" tall (90th percentile) 30 lbs. (75th percentile)
EDY: 33" tall (90th percentile) 24 lbs. (50th percentile)
Edy grew five inches in just six months, wow! Looks like they're going to be towering over me before I know it!

lunch with Granny Great

My grandmother invited us over for lunch today to visit and show off the girls to all the oldy friends. She surprised the girls with coloring books and belated Valentine's cards and candy and spoiled them with chocolate pudding and whip cream! We had a good time hanging out with her.

5K

Spur of the moment, I decided to run a 5K with Bonny and her mom in Lake Placid. I had not been practicing and even had to borrow tennis shoes, so I was proud to finish with a time of 32:37. And I got to spend time with Bonny, Jared, Brooker and Martie so it was well worth it! Thanks for inspiring me to get in shape Bon! One of these days I'm going to try to beat you!

Play date gone bad...

So today we were at the park and some little girl thought she would be funny and hop in the baby swing...let's just say she didn't hop out quite as easily. She got stuck, really stuck and couldn't get out. Her mom propped her feet up on some water bottles to help with the circulation. They poured bubbles on her legs to try to slip her out, no such luck. They had to call the paramedics and ended up cutting the swing open to get her out! Bet she won't pull that stunt again! And, yes, I was the crude one taking pictures of it all.

Happy 1st Birthday Savanna!

Savanna had a great birthday party. The girls really loved the bounce house and, of course, the cupcakes! She has since started taking steps...Lucy and Edy are going to love when she can run around with them!

Happy Love Day!

I hosted a Valentine's playdate at my house for my mom's club. We made Valentine's cards, ate lots of cupcakes and played. The kids had lots of fun!
