mOthEr's dAy!

today was the perfect day, mother's day. it started when jd brought me breakfast and a beautiful bouquet of yellow roses and the sweetest cards from edy and lucy. we packed a lunch and went to a park down the road that overlooks a lake and has a really fun playground. we quickly ate our picnic and took lucy to the playground. the plan was to stay there, but the wind was so strong it was freezing us to death! so we went to st. paul to the children's museum for some inside fun. we had so much fun watching lucy discover new things. on the way home we had a scrumptious dinner at olive garden. i feel like the luckiest mom on earth to have lucy and edy in my life. they are truly the light of my life and so much fun. thanks to my husband for planning such a great day, it was perfect!
