I give up!

After sitting here for hours trying to sort through all my pictures and get them in order sequentially, I give up! It is too much work and I just don't have that kind of time. So you're just going to have to deal with them being out of order. They're all part of Christmas anyway!

Lucy telling Edy good morning Christmas morning and telling her that Santa came.

Edy registering she just hit the jackpot.

Christmas with Grandpa Dowd

Grandpa Dowd came down today to bring the girls their Christmas presents. Let's just say by the time he left we had a nursery full of dolls, twins, babies that use the potty, etc.! Lucy was also very excited about her new harmonica! They both actually play a pretty good tune. Thanks, Gramps, we had fun.

oh, Christmas tree...

Now, isn't he just cute! I've received several comments about ole' Frosty, not all good, but that's okay. I just adore the guy! I couldn't get the whole tree in the picture because I was using my new zoom camera lens and I love it...thanks, babe :-)

Lucy and Edy baking (but mostly taking a bite out and putting them on the pan) Christmas tree cookies. And what kind of mother uses break-n-bake cookies anyway?

bounce house

We went to a German market Christmas Festival in downtown Tomball for a mom's club meetup. The festival wasn't much to write about, but it was a reason to get out of the house and it was Lucy's first experience with a bounce house...she was all excited about it, but when she actually made an entrance, you can see by the look on her face this wasn't what she had expected.

Tree farm

Saturday we met up with the Wylies at the Old Time Christmas Tree Farm to take pictures, see Santa and assist the Wylies in selecting a fine tree. It was the perfect day to be outside.

Aren't they the cutest things! These pictures make my heart melt :-)

As promised by Lucy, she did sit with Santa and she didn't cry. However, she absolutely would not look in his direction while trying not to touch him and she forgot to tell old St. Nick what was on her list that she's been reciting to me all week...Momma, I want a little baby (she says with her face all scrunched up in a high pitched voice) and a doll house.

Edy wouldn't give the poor guy the time of day whether he had candy canes or not!

For being so brave, Lucy got to slide down the blow-up slide, with Daddy's help. You could tell she had butterflies, but once it was over she was lit up like a christmas tree. I'm not sure who had more fun, her or Daddy!
