No. 1 reason to get out of bed before your children...

While I was still in a sleepy fog this morning Lucy comes in to tell me that she took care of Edy's poopy diaper for me, but it got all over the place. After waking up and checking out the situation Lucy wasn't lying. But she couldn't tell me where the missing poopy diaper was. All she said was that Edy took it. I was mind boggled, I looked everywhere. Until I went to the bathroom to sit down and this is what I saw!

And the little monster was so proud! She kept repeating poo poo, potty. Well, she is right, poo poo does go in the potty!

Rodeo Houston

The Houston Livestock and Rodeo are in town and Sara and I got tickets to go to the rodeo and see Keith Urban. Side note: I remember last year reading in my Southern Living magazine all about what a big deal this rodeo was and thought it would be so cool to be a part of. How awesome I got to go! Although, we ended up missing the rodeo for various reasons, but the concert was well worth it all. Keith Urban put on a great show and we had such a good time getting out and kicking our heels up. I may be corny, but I had to get a picture of my get up because I don't put these boots on very often!
Before the show

Wagon racing...this was the only thing we saw of the rodeo.

Happy St. Paddy's Playdate

Sara hosted a "One Lucky Playdate" in honor of St. Patrick's Day. We played games, the kids played and the moms socialized. I'm so glad I became a part of this group, they are so much fun and it's been nice to get to know such a great group of women. The name of our group is actually called "a group only a mother could love."

Holly, Krissy, Sara, Stacy, Mary, Natalie, Erin, Stephanie, Heather and I.

Mom's night out!

We girls decided that since the kids had so much fun at Connor's party it was our turn. So Heather, Theresa, me and Stacy went out for the night to Martini Blvd., a martini and mojito bar. We had such a good time just having girl talk and getting to know each other. I'm already looking forward to the next mno!

Connor's first birthday

Today we went to a birthday party for Stephanie's (who is a girl in my mom's group) little boy Connor. The party was awesome, although, the weather wasn't cooperating like it was planned. There was a trackless train to ride on, but it wouldn't quit raining :-( A cotton candy machine, face painting and Elmo, Buzz Lightyear and Sponge Bob Square Pants also made an appearance. Lucy and Edy weren't too happy about seeing Elmo in person. Both of them hung onto me for dear life until he left the room. All he wanted was to play musical chairs! Other than that, we had a great time at the party. Happy birthday Connor!

Just what she needed, pure sugar, because the cake and ice cream didn't have enough in it!

looks tasty.

face painting.

Look at that evil look Edy has. I think she thought Elmo was coming back!

Elmo...he was pretty big and scary and picking up children, aghh!

Reunited and it feels so good...

Today the girls and I drove to Stuart to meet up with a friend of mine that I haven't seen in years. It was so nice to catch up with her (Joanna) and meet her little girl Gabriella. And we went to eat at her pizzaria which was very delicious. Thanks Joanna for the great day!
