it was a beautiful day for a drive through the mountains.
we spotted a couple of cyotes
took a short shivering hike around Sprague Lake where we once fished in September
took in some great views
this is the lake, or "was" the lake
watched in amusement as some elk crossed the road
and enjoyed some ice cream cones on the way home. then it was time for grandma grier to arrive and my brother, woohoo! it was so nice to have family here and we'll be looking forward to their return!
